Difference between CFM based whey and ION Exchange whey

As we all know that Isolates are a better quality of protein as compared to concentrates purely for the ratio of protein per serving. Although Isolates are better there is a difference between the way isolate proteins are sourced or manufactures. The two ways of sourcing an isolate protein are ION exchange and CFM (Crossflow microfiltration). The major difference between ION exchange and CFM based whey is the highest quality of undenatured proteins that the CFM whey gives. While ION exchange gives the largest quantity of proteins it manages to retain only some of whey’s biologically active components, while CFM whey cross-flow microfiltration sustains a complete protein profile-one of optimal balance, as found naturally in whey.
They have a higher amino acid profile. more calcium and less sodium.
