Recipe of the Month – Anti-aging Turmeric Drink

Turmeric, sometimes called Indian saffron or the golden spice is an herb native to Southeast Asia that is a true super-food shown to have remarkable healing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Turmeric milk, also known as Golden milk, is a traditional Indian drink that has its roots in Ayurveda. Here is our version of the Turmeric milk that is sure to delight your taste buds as well as make you look younger and healthier.

Ingredient list –

  • 1/2 Banana
  • 4-6 pieces pineapple, sliced
  • 1 tsp virgin coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

Procedure –

  • Cut half a banana into thick slices.
  • Add pineapple, virgin coconut oil, cinnamon powder, turmeric, grated ginger and flax seeds to banana.
  • Pour coconut milk over the mix and them all together to make a shake.
  • Pour it in a glass and serve.
